31st ACADEMIC COUNCIL MEETING
The 31st Meeting of the Academic Council of MIST was held on 30 July 2009. A/Commandant MIST, Brigadier General Habibur Rahman Kamal, psc chaired the meeting. Representatives/members from University of Dhaka, BUET, Ministry of Education, Defence and Finance, Armed Forces Division, Army, Navy and Air Headquarters and concerned members of MIST were present in the meeting. Deliberate discussion on various important academic related issues like withdrawal of students, updating the Syllabus of Aeronautical Engineering Program, increasing honorium of part time teachers and lab technician, admission of foreign students, amendment of academic calendar 2008-2009, promotion of 1st class civil officers, admission test policy etc took place and appropriate decisions were taken accordingly.
